How It Started
A Singapore-based company set out to transform the hotel booking experience - not just visually, but commercially. Their goal was clear: increase booking conversions and upsell premium rooms by offering travelers an immersive, confidence-building way to explore properties before they book.
Instead of relying on static images or outdated slideshows, they envisioned a VR-powered platform where guests could virtually step inside each resort, suite, or boutique hotel — and make better, faster booking decisions.
We designed and built the entire product experience from the ground up - including both the main VR booking platform and its companion mobile app and web platform for admin.

The project set out to solve a clear business challenge: increase booking conversions and drive upsells through a more engaging, trust-building user experience.

Our Focus
Our focus was to create an immersive product experience that feels intuitive, elegant, and commercially effective - bridging the gap between emotional exploration and confident decision-making.
We designed the platform to feel like a seamless extension of the booking journey, not a distraction. Navigation had to be fluid across 360° environments, while interface elements remained familiar and unobtrusive.
We approached this project with a deep sensitivity to the nuances of VR UX:
• How users scan space and interpret motion.
• How to minimize cognitive load in 360° environments.
• How to guide attention without overwhelming or distracting.
The UX had to work across VR and mobile without compromising on clarity, performance, or storytelling - supporting both deep immersion and fast action.

Launch & Growth
We delivered a fully designed, development-ready product - complete with mobile and web interfaces, VR booking flows, and ecosystem-wide logic for all user roles.
The platform was positioned for global launch, with scalable architecture and a clear UX foundation to support future growth - including new partner integrations and regional localization.
Although development was handled on the client’s side, we remained involved throughout the handoff phase to ensure full alignment between business goals, user experience, and technical implementation.
The system included:
• A VR-first booking platform, designed for development in Unity (C#) with dynamic 360° content navigation
• A companion iOS app, structured for Swift, with offline playback and synchronized content access.
• A web-based admin dashboard, designed for implementation with React (frontend) and Firebase / Node.js (backend) - optimized for non-technical hotel staff.
